There are 2 pilgrimages upcoming

    - Going to visit the Carmelite Nuns in St Agatha, near Waterloo, Aug 23

            We are planning to meet at Holy Cross Church Parking lot at 7:30 to carpool there. 

            Bring a packed lunch, we will be leaving around 3pm, will be back in time for dinner. 

            We will be given a space to keep our bags and lunches.

            While there we will learn about a day in a life for a Cloistered Nun of the order of St Joseph of Carmel, will spend time in             adoration with them, be able to explore the grounds, and ask all the questions we can. 

    - Day trip to Midland to visit the Martyr Shrine Sept 27

           This is a diocese event for young people. There will be busses meeting at 8am at the Basilica of our Lady Immaculate in                         Hamilton to drive people there, our group will also be car pooling from Holy Cross in Georgetown at the same time. 

           While there we will have a Mass, there will adoration, stations of the cross, and confession available for all participates. After                 mass there will be a talk, and before we leave at 6pm we will have a picnic dinner provided. Arrive back home around 9pm

           there is a $40 registration fee to help cover costs, if you are carpooling you will be expected to pay for entrance into the                         Martyr Shrine. If you are interested in joining the you can register with the link below

Our next Speaker is Fr Tom 

                Fr Tom is an incredible speaker. He is a priest in the Ukrainian Catholic Rite, which is a Beautiful way to celebrate                                    Christ and is quite different from the western way. Fr Tom will be coming to talk to us about the Eastern Rite as well as all                      the other Catholic Rites and ways of worshiping that is in the 1.5% of practicing Catholic Rite Traditions. 

 Friday September 12, 6-9pm at Holy Cross Church in the Sacred Heart Room. 

October 11 at 2pm in honor of Our Lady of Fatima we will be praying a rosary on the corner of Argyll and Mountain View in front of Holy Cross Church. We will be one of many groups across all of Canada doing this, Praying the Rosary openly, in the view of all who pass. 

We plan on going to a traditional Lain Mass again, at St Ann Church in Hamilton. Date is to be determined
