There are 2 pilgrimages upcoming

    - Going to visit the Carmelite Nuns in St Agatha, near Waterloo, Aug 23

            We are planning to meet at Holy Cross Church Parking lot at 8:30 to carpool there. 

            Bring a packed lunch, we will be leaving around 3pm, will be back in time for dinner. 

            We will be given a space to keep our bags and lunches.

            While there we will learn about a day in a life for a Cloistered Nun of the order of St Joseph of Carmel, will spend time in             adoration with them, be able to explore the grounds, and ask all the questions we can. 

    - Day trip to Midland to visit the Martyr Shrine Sept 27

           This is a diocese event for young people. There will be busses meeting at 9am at the Basilica of our Lady Immaculate in                         Hamilton to drive people there, our group will also be car pooling from Holy Cross in Georgetown at the same time. 

           While there we will have a Mass, there will adoration, stations of the cross, and confession available for all participates. After                 mass there will be a talk, and before we leave at 6pm we will have a picnic dinner provided. Arrive back home around 9pm

           there is a $40 registration fee to help cover costs, if you are carpooling you will be expected to pay for entrance into the                         Martyr Shrine. If you are interested in joining the you can register with the link below

 We are hosting a Rosary Rally

        The Holy Cross Young Adults (HCYA) invite you to join us in praying the rosary on Saturday October 11 at noon, to pray for Mary's intervention for the conversion of Canada. We will gather at the front of Holy Cross at the intersection of Argyll and Mountainview. This will be a Public Rosary Rally, where we will be praying in public for all to see. We will be one of over a thousand groups praying together on this day organized through the campaign Canada Needs Our Lady. 

We planning on going to a traditional Lain Mass again, at Holy Family Basilica in Toronto, Oct 19 at 11am. Afterwards we will go out for lunch. 

Our Seminarian Joseph will be Hosting Adoration!

    November 14 at Holy Cross Church at 6pm-7pm there will be Adoration in the main Church. Afterwards all are invited to join us in the Sacred Heart room for snacks.  

Our Next Speaker is Fr Mark Morley,

    November 28, 2025 at Holy Cross Parish in the Hall from 6-9pm Fr Mark will be coming to present to us about Vocations. Fr Mark Morley is the Vocations Director of the Diocese of Hamilton. There will pizza provided 

Next Year Fr Will will be joining us,

    January 9, 2026 Holy Cross Parish in the Sacred Heart Room from 6-9pm Fr Will will be presenting to us all about The Secular World.  There will be snacks and lots to learn. 

HCYA Presents Family Feud Hosted by Andrew 

      If you liked Catholic Jeopardy you will love Catholic Family Feud.  Friday February 20, 2026 6pm-9pm in the Holy Cross Parish Hall, we will have a game show night, with plenty of snacks and laughs.
